THE GREAT SHOECASE ... SNEAKER SURREALISM!

This amazing challenge was reason enough to sort out my Adobe Substance subscription and join all those talented texturing people out there playing with the provided shoe model.

Being fairly new to Substance Painter, my attempt to do something different resulted in a surreal sneaker design - starting off as a fairly normally texutred shoe, which decided to dissolve into the elements:

When I first tried out this design, I took a screengrab in Substance Painter and painted on the waterfalls in Adobe Fresco ... which looked fab, but obviously brought up the question: How can I do this in Substance Stager?

I was  very keen to do a little animation in Blender as well, and HITHE GAMY kindly provided a sound piece for me:
The next step was to create a right shoe and bring it into Adobe Aero. Here are some AR shots:
